The Zebra was built in 1955 in Rotterdam.

The first years of her life she was sailing as

a cargo ship.

In 1987 she started a new life as a passenger

ship after being totaly rebuilt.

Until now she is sailing during the summer

season through Holland, mostly with bicycles.

so that, while the ship is sailing the guestst

can make the nicest bicycle tours.

During the rest of the year and the weeks the

ship is not sailing in summer, she is in use as

a floating affordable budget hotel situated

in the centre of Amsterdam.
